Next Generation Raman Handheld for
Identification of Narcotics, Explosives, Hazmat and More
The TacticID® is a field-ready handheld spectral analysis instrument designed for non-contact forensic analysis by a variety of safety personnel and first responders, including law enforcement personnel, hazmat technicians, bomb squads and more. The TacticID utilizes Raman spectroscopy, allowing users to get real-time actionable identification of narcotics, unknown chemicals, explosives and many other substances while reducing operational uncertainty and response time without ever compromising the integrity of the sample or the chain of evidence. The TacticID® comes in 2 models: Narcotics (N) and General Purpose (GP). The TacticID®-N comes standard with an industry-leading library of nearly 1,000 illicit substances including narcotics, prescription drugs, precursors and cutting agents. Additionally, users have access to frequent library updates in order to continuously maintain up-to-date identification capabilities and stay ahead of emerging narcotics. The TacticID®-GP comes standard with a comprehensive library of over 5,000 hazardous chemicals, explosives, narcotics, prescription drugs, precursors and cutting agents. Additionally, it provides users with the capability to develop their own custom libraries in order to continuously maintain up-to-date identification capabilities.
